A New World
The night sky dazzles with an overwhelming mystique,
Glorious waves touch the sand like kisses to the cheek.
An aura of warmth can be felt on this cold frosty night,
Heightened senses absorb energy as black turns to white.
With the fade of darkness hearts swell with hope and glee,
Still knowing full well that faith doesn’t have a guarantee.
The once fizzling stars now emulate telling signs of a change,
With all pathways pointing to a luminous exchange.
Adhesives begin to bond the fractured cracks of concrete,
The unimpaired motions of the trees dance to a silent beat.
Aggressive currents transcend into shallow calming streams,
And literal nightmares become soothing living dreams.
The pale moonlight lights the land like a torch of beauty,
All beings protect their shared ground with a sense of duty,
Unitedly existing together, one for all and all for one,
Peace and Harmony in the new changing world has now begun.
